As our departure quickly approaches, I hope you all are praying for us. We just finished the book Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado, and it talked a lot about prayer. Lucado quotes 1 Thessalonians 5:17, which says "pray without ceasing." I think this is very important right now because God only knows what will happen to us while we are in Tanzania. Pray for our health, our safety, and our security. Pray for our mission, our purpose, and our plan. Pray for our hearts, our minds, and our spirits.
"Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ." Colossians 4:2-3
